Jump Off Rock on January 11th, 2011. I believe the combination of the lucky date and fact it just snowed forced me to go shoot. Very close to where I grew up so the location is a sentimental favorite.

After visiting the top of Little Pisgah to see the color nearly complete, I went into the woods in search of fall. This scene is a little "busy" but it shows off the mountains in the background.
