Summer Sunset from Little Pisgah

Lensball photo from Laughter Mountain Road on Little Pisgah. Roads can provide a leading line, the second image was to play with the upside down nature of the image.
Shooting South-West in direction from the pasture on Little Pisgah. Color can pop up everywhere in the sky if the clouds are there to catch the light.
A couple images from Little Pisgah playing with a lensball. Refraction photos are fun to experiment with and can make you take time to look for different images than you would normally shoot.
Shooting away from a sunset can provide warm light on a subject. Don't waste the time waiting on the sun to go down.
Spent the day working on the property just so I could stay outside. Was worn out by the end of the day, wish i had saved some energy to work on photos. Moon rose around sunset, the fireworks started right at dusk.
Nice wide perspective on the mountain. The sunset behind the clouds allowed an even exposure and good detail in the foreground.
Wide angle of the crepuscular rays on Little Pisgah. Looking towards Garren Creek and the Black Mountains in the background. Was expecting color during sunset but the dramatic clouds and sunbeams were the highlight.
Also got color images from the same sunset on Little Pisgah that I thought were good. Crepuscular rays (or sunbeams) highlight the fog in the valley.
Sunsets are typically all about color but the dramatic sky can be good in black and white as well. Little Pisgah and the view towards the Black Mountains and Garren Creek.
