View of Bearwallow Mountain (4,232 ft) from Little Pisgah (4,412 ft). The two highest peaks in the immediate vicinity.
Went up to the top of Little Pisgah looking to photograph rhododendron blooms but was a little early. Switched over to black and white while exploring.

The next morning did have good color during the sunrise on Little Pisgah. One image with a longer exposure and motion blur, the other without.
After a sunset with very little color we stuck around for the night view from Little Pisgah. Close to the new moon in September (playing catch up) the stars were visible but the Milky Way wasn't as dramatic as earlier in the year.
Really like the neutral tones in this image from Little Pisgah. Shooting around sunset but the color wasn't great so I started looking for what was available.
