The only real glimpse I got of the "Strawberry" Moon before it hid behind the clouds. Shot at the Cherry Cove Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway, milepost 415.7 on June 24th, 2021.
Long exposure on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Strawberry Moon behind the clouds. Example of a blended image where I shot one to give a little detail in the foreground. Sky and background mountains exposure time would have been a couple minutes.
One of the attempts to capture the Strawberry Moon on June 24th, 2021. Cherry Cove Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway, milepost 415.7.

Blue Ridge Parkway sunset from the Mills River Overlook at milepost 404.5. Similar composition to the last image, probably about an hour later in the evening.
Infrared black and white from milepost 404.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Mills River Overlook in Candler is s a good spot for sunsets and open views.
Image from the Blue Ridge Parkway in 2013. I believe this was close to Craggy Gardens but don't have the exact location.
Minimal edit to this image on from the Bad Fork Valley Overlook. After the blue sky went away there was this brief period of clouds without color...Blue Ridge Parkway, October 2012.
October of 2012, I've used several images from this date. This is one of the earliest in the day on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
