I believe the plant in the foreground is a mscanthus. Invasive species but I liked the dark and overblown nature of the photo.

Went up to capture the last color on the Parkway in 2020. The bare nature of the forest makes the remaining trees pop. Wouldn't characterize this as one of my better shots but it was still a good time to be outside.
