The Wedge Studios at 37 Paynes Way in Asheville's River Arts District. The Wedge Brewing was established in 2008 in a 19th century warehouse that also hosts several other businesses. The space is tight inside but a great place to meet when the weather is nice.
The original plan on the monument below included Douglas Ellington's vision that both buildings were to be built in the Art Deco Architectural style. Asheville's City Hall followed as the County decided it was too modern at the time.
Public art installation in Pritchard Park to play off the architectural style of the buildings in Asheville. Aluminum sculpture by Harry McDaniels was unveiled in 2008.
Another shot from the Beaver Lake Perimeter Trail Loop. Simple 1.9 mile walk around the lake. A little muddy the day we went but with all the rain that's to be expected. There is also another short 0.4 Boardwalk in the Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary at the easiest public parking to access the perimeter loop.

Famous American Literature landmark at the Thomas Wolfe Memorial. Going to go back at a better time of day and rephotograph this. I like how the Queen Anne architecture contrasts nicely with the modern design at 60 North Market Condos. The bronzed shoes are urban trail station #19.
