The Stillwell Building at Hendersonville High School. Lately the subject of a lot of debate as the County considered renovation or replacement. At the moment it appears to be safe as it will continue to host classes, since 1926. Designed by Erle Stillwell, the architect created many prominent buildings in Henderson County, Western North Carolina and extending into the Southeast US. Growing up in Hendersonville I enjoyed attending classes there and was the 3rd generation to walk the halls of the same building.
