This is the little sliver of the top of Hickory Nut Falls at Chimney Rock. The end of the Skyline Trail.
I have't gotten a shot of the Devil's Head that I love yet. But, this is the first attempt for the rock on the blog from Chimney Rock, NC.

One of my favorite photos from Max Patch in March. Good contrast and you can see the haze in the air. Need to get back in the summer when the schedule opens.

This is a combination of 2 shots on Max Patch. The haze was playing tricks with the auto focus so the exposure was bracketed to make sure it was sharp.
Stairway down to the parking lot from Max Patch. Easier to walk up the gradual hill and down the stairs. Short walk worth taking when you're in the area.
