The Japanese White Pine photographed in the arboretum bonsai exhibition. Fun to walk through during each visit to see which plant catches my attention.

Biscuit Head is always a popular choice for breakfast. Photos from the West Asheville location at 733 Haywood Road. I had the brisket biscuit while Mike had the fried catfish. The Doner at UpCountry Brewing serves German Street Food in West Asheville. Really enjoyed stopping in and checking out the new menu.

I've always liked this little garden shed with a "green" roof at the North Carolina Arboretum. Living in full sun the mosses reduce the heat for the building. The shed has a rainwater misting irrigation system to support the native mosses.
