Eagle View on the High Sierra Trail. Quick 1.5 mile hike from the trailhead. Nice section of Sequoia National Park around the Parker Trees, Crescent Meadow and the drive through tunnel log. Easy place to spend a few hours.
Last shot from the quick stop in the National Forest and Hume Lake. Maybe just a reminder to myself, this place is worth to considering if passing through again. Quick access to National Park attractions, restaurant and water recreation. A little community of lake cabins in the middle of Kings Canyon. Back on the road.
Stopped at Hume Lake in Sequoia National Forest to jump on the trail. Nice setting around the lake and the little community has cabin rentals, restaurants, etc. Photo taken on the boat dock for the camp.

At the top of Moro Rock, watched a couple groups of people move in and out before realizing it was just me. Narrow walkway at the summit with panoramic views while you wait.

The Congress Trail is an easy hike after the General Sherman Tree.
General Sherman Tree is in the Giant Forest in Sequoia National Park. Largest tree by volume in the world. The vertical image is a better composition and one with Karen Jackson for scale.
